“To call this a ‘service’ is a huge understatement- Joni and her team are responsible for one of the best days of our lives and is a day we will never forget. Joni was amazing and accommodating, helpful and supportive through out and honestly made the experience so much relaxing and less stressful. We aren’t people who enjoy having our photo taken or having a lot of attention so the fact that we loved every second of it is incredible. It’s very rare in life that reality meets your expectation, however, our day with Joni surpassed it- we could not have imagined a day half as good as it turned out.
Our wedding was incredibly short notice as we decided to fit in an elopement to a pre-planned trip… we had six weeks from getting engaged to our flight! We had multiple obstacles in the way of permits which were complicated by being on a different time zone in the U.K. but Joni and the team were able to help and really went above and beyond to help us get it sorted to make sure everything worked out.
The day before the wedding we arrived at Yosemite and realised that when Joni warned us that it could be busy, she wasn’t wrong… after a quick panic and sharing our concerns with Joni she was able to use her local knowledge to tear up the timeline she had worked so hard to curate with us and start fresh– she didn’t even flinch and it was perfect. Joni helped create the perfect atmosphere that felt personal, private and as though we were sharing it with a friend– by the end of the day, that’s what we felt we became. We will always remember the evening we spent with Joni waiting for the Milky Way to show up; contemplating life, love and a surprise visit from Elon Musk’s star-link!
We cannot thank her enough and to top it off of course the photos are amazing. If you’re considering eloping: do it, and do it under Joni’s guidance. We would strongly recommend this experience for anyone who is tempted to elope- certainly an adventure we wish we could do again every day.
